If you can't face spending hours scrolling through what Amazon's platform has to offer right now, and you're just looking to dive into something fresh, you're in luck: It's literally my job to keep a close eye on everything new on Prime Video (and all the best streaming services, for that matter).
If you're struggling to choose your next show, I've just scrolled through the streamer's recent releases and highlighted three shows that I think Prime Video subscribers might want to add to their watchlists this weekend.
Below, you can find a quick round-up of these three new-to-Prime Video recommendations you might want on your radar, including a newly-released psychological thriller from none other than Harlan Coben.
The best new-to-Prime Video shows to stream this weekend
'Allen Iv3rson'
Basketball fans have a new doc to stream this weekend, as Prime Video just dropped "Allen Iv3rson," a three-part deep-dive into the titular NBA legend.
The series makes use of never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews to chart Iverson's remarkable rise, chronicling his sacrifice, his resilience, his unwavering loyalty to family and community, and shows how he redefined the game and empowered future generations.

'Gen V' season 2
If you were waiting to binge-watch "Gen V" season 2 in its entirety, now's your chance, as the final episode of "The Boys" spinoff arrived earlier this week. For the uninitiated, "Gen V" expands Eric Kripke's universe to Godolkin University, the superhero-only college where students are trained to be the next generation of heroes.
In the show's second season, a new Dean's taken office, and they're preaching a curriculum that promises to make Godolkin's students more powerful than ever before. Plus, a war between Humans and Supes is brewing on and off campus, and our gang stumbles onto a secretive program that may have bigger implications than they realize — one that Marie's (Jaz Sinclair) somehow part of.

'Harlan Coben's Lazarus'
Prime Video's big release of the week is "Lazarus," a new psychological thriller based on an original idea from the prolific thriller author, Harlan Coben — and it's been branded one of the best Coben shows yet by fellow TG writer, Alix Blackburn.
The series sees forensic psychiatrist Dr. Joel "Laz" Lazarus (Sam Claflin) confronting some long-buried demons after his father (Bill Nighy) dies by suicide. When he returns home following the death, Laz starts to have unexplainable, disturbing experiences. He's soon tangled up in a series of cold-case murders while he grapples with both the mystery of his father's death and that of his own sister's murder 25 years ago.
