Paramount+ is a great streaming service to look for your weekend binge-watch. While it might be known more for its movies and live sports, Paramount+ adds new episodes or entire seasons of new shows every week. It doesn't just add original shows, either. It also pulls in new shows from Paramount's networks, including CBS, and even adds some coproductions with international studios.
This weekend, I've got three shows worthy of your next binge session. First up is "The Madison," a new series from "Yellowstone" and "Landman" creator Taylor Sheridan. Set largely in Montana, it's much more the former than the latter, but it brings serious star power in the form of Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. That's not the only thing worth streaming, though. There's also "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy," the latest chapter in the "Star Trek" universe, which just wrapped up its first season. There's also "Canada Shore," a "Jersey Shore" successor that is wrapping up its first season next week.
So without further ado, here are the three new to Paramount+ shows you need to binge-watch this weekend. If you need more recommendations, check out everything coming to Paramount+ in March 2026 for more options.
'The Madison'
Genre: Drama series
What's it about? The Clyburn family, led by Preston (Kurt Russell) and Stacy (Michelle Pfeiffer), is suddenly uprooted from the upper floors of New York's highrises to the Big Sky Country of Montana after a disaster strikes.
Why you should watch it: If you like "Yellowstone," then this latest show from Taylor Sheridan is worth checking out. It's definitely heavier on the melodrama and lighter on the violence, but it fits the mold of a Western soap opera with a highly skilled cinematographer.

'Star Trek: Starfleet Academy'
Genre: Science fiction
What's it about? Set in the 32nd century, "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" takes place in a future centuries ahead of what we're familiar with in the "Star Trek" universe. Both Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets are still recovering from a cataclysmic event, and the show follows Starfleet's first new class of cadets in over a century, training aboard USS Athena in San Francisco.
Why you should watch it: "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" just wrapped up its first season, and the reception has been mixed. On Rotten Tomatoes, the critics love it, giving it an 88% fresh rating. Audiences are far more down on the series, though, rating it just 51% fresh. That said, both the audience score is a notable improvement from the series premiere weeks ago, so maybe the show is starting to grow on people.

'Canada Shore'
Genre: Reality series
What's it about? Set in the lakeside city of Kelowna, British Columbia, "Canada Shore" centers around 12 housemates from the land of Tim Hortons. They can get plenty rowdy despite Canadians' stereotypically polite nature, and that makes for good television.
Why you should watch it: If you loved "Jersey Shore," this is essentially the same show but in Canada. It follows the daily lives of a group of young partiers living together under one roof, and fans of the original are already addicted to its Canadian counterpart. Catch up now before the season finale next week.
