3 new health and beauty retailers to open in Nottingham's Victoria Centre

Nottingham's Victoria Centre has announced a trio of new health and beauty shops will join its retail offering.

The shopping centre is set to bolster its wellbeing offering with the additions of Allertons Hair and Beauty Salon, E-Nails nail salon, and Laser Clinics - offering laser hair removal and skin treatments.

The news follows last month’s unveiling of seven new brands at the centre, including the arrival of The Barkery by Frenchie and Frenchie, Skechers, Ribble Cycles and the Treat Kitchen.

Launching on July 18, John Lewis will add Allertons Hair and Beauty Salon to its first floor as the chain’s third UK-based salon since opening in 2014.

To celebrate its opening, customers are being treated to 20 percent off all appointments, including bookings for beauty, hair and manicures, up until 26 August.

Allertons Hair and Beauty Salon is a well-established brand that offers hairstyling services, olaplex and keratin treatments, as well as facials and massages, lycon waxing, manicures and pedicures, all in a high-end setting.

Allertons joins the centre’s already long list of health and beauty names, including Nottingham’s Boots, US beauty giant Morphe, Vision Express and Superdrug, Supercuts, The Perfume Shop and The Fragrance Shop.

Throughout July, the centre’s existing beauty line-up will be strengthened further by the arrival of E-Nails and Laser Clinics.

Centre director at Victoria Centre, Nigel Wheatley, added: “For many of us in this past year, wellbeing has been put on pause.

"The pandemic has meant that much-needed hair appointments have been cancelled, beauty and nail treatments delayed, so it’s been a year where pampering has been off the list.

“It’s time to embrace those familiar rituals again so we can all feel and look our best.

"That’s why we’re delighted to be able to offer an even wider selection of health and beauty offerings at the centre, perfect for those of us now venturing ‘out-out’ once again or anyone simply looking for the space and time to relax.

"We want visitors to the centre to have a memorable experience with us, and giving them the opportunity to escape the day-to-day hustle and bustle as things return to normal over the next few months will be a welcome respite.”
