PATIALA: Police have arrested three persons allegedly involved in sale and purchase of illegal weapons.
Police also claimed to have recovered five pistols and 20 live cartridges from them.
Two accused were suspected to be accomplices of gangster Rajiv Raja, lodged in Nabha Jail. Raja is facing 34 criminal cases.
The three accused are: Tarun Kumar, 21; Jasdeep Singh, 20, both of Patiala; and Sukhwinder Singh, 22, of Mohali.
