3 more Packers draft picks sign rookie deals

Half of the Green Bay Packers’ 2019 draft class is signed.

According to reports from Rob Demovsky of ESPN and Bill Huber of Packer Report, sixth-round picks Ka’dar Hollman and Dexter Williams and seventh-round pick Ty Summers signed their four-year rookie contracts Friday.

They’ll join safety Darnell Savage, who became the first first-round pick to agree to a deal on Thursday.

The Packers begin rookie minicamp Friday.

Since the new CBA was signed in 2011, rookie contracts have become more and more routine. The rookie wage scale has eliminated much of the negotiation that once held up many of the deals.

The Packers still need to sign first-round pick Rashan Gary, second-round pick Elgton Jenkins, third-round pick Jace Sternberger and fifth-round pick Kingsley Keke.
