Three men were shot and wounded late Friday morning while driving in Englewood on the South Side.
They were exiting the Dan Ryan Expressway about 11:05 a.m. when a black SUV pulled up to them in the 5900 block of South Wentworth Avenue and someone inside fired shots, Chicago police said in a statement.
The men were wounded by gunfire but continued driving to St. Bernard Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized, according to police spokeswoman Karie James.
A 19-year-old was treated for gunshots to his hip and hand, James said. Another man, 26, was shot in his leg, while a 32-year-old was shot in the side of his back.
No arrest has been made, according to police.
Earlier Friday, a 24-year-old man was shot to death in nearby Fuller Park while seated in a parked car, police said.
On Thursday, 10 people were wounded in gun violence citywide.
