Three persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident at Patancheru in Sangareddy district in the early hours of Thursday.
According to sources, two speeding motorcycles coming from opposite directions hit each other resulting in the accident at Patelguda road in the outskirts of Patancheru.
Five persons were traveling on these two bikes. Ashish Mujender (20) of West Bengal, Shiva (21) and Ajith (21) of Arunachal Pradesh got seriously injured. They died while undergoing treatment at hospitals in Patancheru and Sangareddy. The condition of the other two was stated to be serious.
Patancheru police registered a case and are investigating.
