The Washington Football Team looks for its third win of the 2021 season on Sunday as they host the New Orleans Saints at FedEx Field.
While the Saints don’t quite resemble the same team that put up 43 points on Washington in 2018 with Drew Brees under center, this is still a good team led by head coach Sean Payton and running Alvin Kamara.
It’s been a weird year for the Saints. New Orleans opened the season with a stunning 38-3 win over the Green Bay Packers. That game is looking more like an anomaly at this point. Not because the Saints are bad, but because the Packers are proving to be one of the best teams in the NFL again.
