Even before Klay Thompson returned to the Golden State Warriors, they were arguably the best team in the NBA. Now, the sky is the limit.
Thompson, who missed two consecutive seasons due to a torn ACL and then a torn Achilles tendon, had a remarkably challenging road back to the league before stepping on the floor again.
But after an unfathomably long absence, one of the greatest shooters the world will ever know is back in action for Golden State. While everyone would have forgiven him and given him some extra runway if he didn’t look good in his return to action, Thompson actually looked great!
That means the rest of the league is in trouble and that the Warriors are a huge threat to win yet another title. However, there are some other things we learned on Sunday night as well.
