After defeating the Atlanta Falcons on the road last week, the Tennessee Titans (2-2) will return home to take on the Buffalo Bills (3-1), who come off a close loss to the New England Patriots.
The Titans enter this game as three-point favorites, but in order to secure the win, they will need to accomplish three things on the defensive side of the ball.
Here are three keys for the Titans on Sunday.
1. Contain the quarterback.

Josh Allen has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to start this game. It will be important for the Titans to harass Allen in the pocket and not let him escape.
If the Titans have another showing with poor tackling, this game could look extremely similar to that of Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
With Allen’s athleticism, he can put a hurting on a defense if he’s not taken down, and his receivers will be difficult to cover for more than a few seconds.
2. Don’t get beat deep.

John Brown has been an underrated deep threat in the NFL for years now, and he is an important part of the Bills offense.
In a perfect world, the Titans defense will get to Allen before Brown has the chance to get deep. But, if the front seven struggle to generate pressure, the Titans defense cannot allow Brown, or any other receiver to get behind them.
3. Create turnovers.

To this point in the season Allen has grown more interceptions than touchdowns. His ratio currently sits at 3:6.
This trend will need to continue against the Titans. The Bills defense is second only to the Chicago Bears, and the Titans offense will need as many cracks as it can get against them.
