Temperatures are dropping, the holidays will be here before we know it, and I'd bet that some would-be viewers want nothing more than to sit down in front of some cozy viewing in between last-minute shopping stints or visiting family and friends.
We've already highlighted a handful of cozy Prime Video miniseries perfect for just such an occasion, but Apple TV also has a wealth of options if you're in a lighter viewing mood; heart-warming watches and easy comedies, perfect for binge-watching this winter.
To keep things interesting, I decided to skip a "Ted Lasso" mention. It would definitely fit the bill, but I figured I'd shoot for some other picks, seeing as Jason Sudeikis's feel-good sports comedy is the one Apple TV show everyone has heard of already. So, without further ado, if you're looking to settle down on the sofa, get ready to wind down with these three cozy Apple TV series.
3 cozy Apple TV shows to binge-watch now
'Platonic'
In Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco's "Platonic," we follow Sylvia (Rose Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen), two ex-best friends heading towards midlife, who start to reconnect.
The pair didn't exactly part on the best of terms, but we meet them just as they start to reconnect (after a years-long rift), and watch as they rekindle that lapsed friendship — shaking up their own lives in the process. Above all else, it's the fizzy chemistry between the pair that makes "Platonic" worth watching, and as the hilarious (and silly) scenarios arise, I'd be surprised if you weren't sucked in.

'Shrinking'
I said I'd dodge "Ted Lasso," but if you want another charming, easygoing (and well-liked!) watch from some of the same people — Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein (aka Roy Kent) — then "Shrinking" is the Apple TV show to turn to next.
"Shrinking" revolves around Jimmy, a struggling, grieving therapist (Jason Segel) grappling with the death of his wife, who starts to shake things up with his clients and starts telling them exactly what he thinks. It might mean he's ignoring his training, but this decision leads him to make some serious changes to people's lives — including his own.

'Trying'
I'll round out this list with the one Apple TV show I'll never stop recommending: "Trying." Frankly, I can't think of a more perfect opportunity to shout about "Trying," either: this British comedy feels primed to become your next comfort watch.
"Trying" revolves around Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall), a couple trying to have their own baby. When they're told early on that they're unlikely to conceive, the pair eventually decides to investigate adoption, only to face all kinds of new challenges that come from that very process.
It's a critically acclaimed, utterly delightful series, one packed with heart and charm, and among the very best things I've streamed on Apple TV, period. And seeing as there are four seasons to binge-watch now (and a fifth on the way), it'll keep you busy right through the winter, too.
