We had some great football over the weekend — and some former Cougars were on the prowl for a chance at the Super Bowl.
Four Cougars competed on Sunday for a taste of what an NFL Champion would be like. And they played like it, heres what happened:
Taysom Hill
Hill ran in for a touchdown and wouldn’t you know played eight different positions in the New Orleans Saints loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship.
Daniel Sorenson
Two former BYU players went head-to-head as Sorenson had 14 tackles, an interception and a tackle for loss in a Kansas City Chiefs loss to Kyle Van Noy and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship.
Kyle Van Noy
Van Noy finished the night with 10 tackles, two sacks and a tackle for loss in a New England Patriots win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
Van Noy is the only BYU player headed to the Super Bowl. So good luck to him.
