3 changes to Cardinals’ Week 2 depth chart

The Arizona Cardinals released their depth chart for Week 2 as they prepare for their game on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. There were a couple of notable changes.

Justin Murray is listed ahead of Jordan Mills

After Marcus Gilbert was placed on injured reserve, Murray is No. 1 on the depth chart, even after the signing of veteran Jordan Mills. Murray started in place of Gilbert in Week 1. It makes sense for now. Mills has not even suited up in practice and doesn’t yet know the schemes.

Things could obviously change in practice but it would be a surprise if Mills were in the lineup on Sunday.

Bullard, acquired via a waiver claim before the season, was at the back of the depth chart in Week 1. However, he was active and played over rookies Michael Dogbe and Miles Brown, both of whom were inactive. In this week’s depth chart, Bullard moved ahead of Dogbe, a seventh-round draft pick.

On the depth chart in Week 1, Gaillard was listed as the third-string left guard behind Justin Pugh and Mason Cole, who is the primary backup at two positions. Gaillard, who missed the season opener with a knee injury, is now the No. 1 backup at right guard, while Jeremy Vujnovich, who was released and re-signed, is behind him.
