3 Changes To BYU’s Depth Chart For University of Utah

It’s the last game of the season, and some say, the most important game of the season, BYU vs Utah.

With those two factors there are bound to be some changes to the depth chart. Here’s what happened:

Linebacker

Rigss Powell, Adam Pulsipher and Rhett Sandlin are listed as co-starters.

Powell has took over since Zayne Anderson season-ending injury. But, Powell didn’t play vs New Mexico State University due to injury. It is still questionable whether he will play Saturday. Since he is still a little hurt, it seems Sandlin and Pulsipher are there to fill in the gaps.

As I said, all three are listed as co-starters.

Defensive end

Corbin Kaufusi suffered a season ending injury during the UMASS game. Since he’s out heres who’s in for the Utah game.

Devin Kaufusi and Uriah Leiatua are listed as co-starters and should see time on the field Saturday.

Devin had the start during New Mexico State University and came up with a sack, but Ilaisa Tuiaki said Leiatua had the better game.

Left Guard

Kieffer Longson, Thomas Shoaf and Keanu Saleapaga aremall three listed as co-starters. Longson is still the back-up left tackle, along with his new role.

Shoaf started the season at left guard, he remained there for two games, when the role switched to Saleapaga.

Saleapaga has started since the Wisconsin game, but Longson took over vs NMSU.
