3 bettors who won big betting on British Open champion Shane Lowry

Congratulations are in order for Shane Lowry, the Ireland native who bested the field at the 2019 British Open and hoisted the Claret Jug on Sunday.

Those same congrats are in order for bettors who put some money down on Lowry to win at Royal Portrush.

It’s not like Lowry was the longest of longshots to win the Open Champioship ahead of the year’s last major. But we saw his odds at 66/1 on the Monday before the tournament started, which is incredibly good value for anyone who bet on him.

There are, however, some who got even better odds than that and are celebrating the victory.

This guy got Lowry at 105/1 and won $15,900!!
