3.27 lakh vaccine jabs given in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, count nears 7 crore

BHOPAL: A total of 3.27 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state on Wednesday, as per the state health bulletin released by directorate of health services.

With these doses being administered on Wednesday, a total of 6.94 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far.

Among the districts where maximum doses were administered on Wednesday include Morena district (24,395 doses), Chhindwara district (22,751 doses), Jabalpur district (19,552 doses) and Mandla (9,939 doses).

Vaccination is now being carried out on all days including Sundays in the state. On Wednesday it was carried out at more than 7,800 government vaccination centres' in the state.

Vaccination of pregnant women had also started in the state from July 23. However, the vaccination of expecting women is being carried out only on Tuesdays and Fridays.
