€2m worth of cannabis has been seized in Dublin during a joint operation between the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue's Customs Service.
The haul was discovered on Friday, August 6 and the operation was part of an intelligence-led initiative.
In a statement released this evening, Gardai said: "100kgs of suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €2 million was seized in Dublin."
No arrests have been made at this stage. Investigations are ongoing.
This operation was part of Revenue’s ongoing joint operations targeting the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
