That bizarre story I posted last week about two Shanghai journalists being sued for alleging that workers at a plant manufacturing iPods were mistreated (Journalists sued for £2m over Apple factory story) appears to have taken a turn for the better. According to the official Xinhua news agency, the Taiwanese firm has dropped its libel claim. Evidently, the company and the paper for whom the journalists worked, the China Business News, have settled matters by apologising to each other. (Via Topix.net)
