Jenny Greene has told how she panics she’ll get the chop every day after two decades on radio.
The Dubliner moved to Drivetime on 2FM having co-hosted the Nicky Byrne Show for five years in the slot now presented by Jennifer Zamparelli.
Jenny told the Irish Mirror: “I’ve been on the radio now for 20 years in various places and it’s something that’s always on my mind.
“I will always worry on a daily basis that it’ll go tomorrow and maybe that’s a good worry to have.
“I used to think one of these days that’s going to be me, as I watched others leave, you need to be prepared for that.

“Once you’re in radio there’s no security whatsoever in it, when you’re doing well, there’s nothing better. But it can be taken just as quickly from you.”
The 37-year-old is the celeb chef on The Restaurant tonight and is cooking up a meal inspired by her wedding to her long-term partner Kelly Keogh at the Wineport Lodge in 2016.
She said: “I did the Restaurant because I was inbetween work and thought, ‘I’ll do this because it’s fun.’
“But I wasn’t doing it to be on the telly.”
- The Restaurant is on Virgin Media One tonight at 9pm.
