A 29-YEAR-OLD woman has died after a motorbike crash on a Scottish road.
The woman, along with three other motorbike riders, was travelling on the A83 on Sunday afternoon when the incident happened at the Kilmory Roundabout at Lochgilphead at around 2.45pm, police said.
Emergency services were called but the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are appealing for information about the crash, which they said involved a white Ducati motorcycle.
The road was closed for around seven hours and enquiries are still ongoing, police said.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to officers to please get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around that time and who may have dash cam footage or who may have seen the motorcycle prior to the crash to contact us.”
