28 Georgia football players named to fall SEC Honor Roll

Twenty-eight University of Georgia football players were named to the 2020 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll as a result of their performances in the classroom, the SEC announced last week.

In total, UGA had 98 student-athletes recognized, which is tied for fifth most among SEC programs. This is based on grades from the 2020 spring, summer and fall terms.

Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport, has a grade point average of 3.00 or higher, and has completed a minimum 24 semester hours, is eligible for nomination.

A total of 1,263 student-athletes were named to the 2020 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.
