270 new Covid cases and 4 deaths in Karnataka

BENGALURU: After reporting more than 400 Covid cases on Friday, Karnataka’s daily cases on Saturday reduced to 270 with Bengaluru accounting for 152 of them, followed by Kodagu (25), Tumakuru (14), Udupi (14) and Mysuru (13).

Having conducted 97,782 tests in the last 24 hours, the daily positivity rate was less than 0.3%. And, 11 districts reported zero cases.

The state has 7,271 active patients. Bengaluru has the highest number of active cases at 5,890. Four deaths were reported, including two from Bengaluru.
