27 Yemeni Children Freed from Mobilization

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) celebrated 27 children who completed phases five and six of the rehabilitation, after they were mobilized by the Houthi militias and used as humanitarian shields in the armed conflict.

The celebration was attended by Maarib deputy governor Ali Mohammad al-Fatemi, a number of parents, and a group from KSRelief.

Fatemi hailed the humanitarian project that takes care of the mobilized children. He also commended the role of KSRelief in this humanitarian mission, which falls under huge efforts presented by the center in Yemen.

According to SPA, the children presented works that reflect the efforts exerted in rehabilitating them psychologically and socially, within the project carried out by KSRelief through Wethaq Foundation for Civil Orientation.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, an exhibition was held to show the drawings made by the children. The audience commended the center that is conducting this qualitative project.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) has completed during the four past phases the rehabilitation of 161 children who were mobilized in several provinces.
