27 fantasy football sleepers for 2019 NFL season

The NFL will kick off it’s 100th season on Thursday evening with a special edition of “Sunday Night Football” featuring the Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears at 6:20 p.m. MT on NBC/FuboTV (try it free).

The return of regular season football also means the return of fantasy football! Most leagues will have already had their drafts by now but some leagues wait until the last minute (that’s probably a good idea given that Andrew Luck retired and Lamar Miller tore his ACL during preseason).

Whether you are about to have your draft or are already looking for waiver wire claims, this list of 27 fantasy football sleepers should prove to be useful. The list includes running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and quarterbacks.

At running back, Darwin Thompson is a big name to watch. The Chiefs are expected to start Damien Williams in 2019 but Thompson, a sixth-round pick in April’s draft, has been turning heads this summer.

At worst, Thompson will share touches with Williams in a Kansas City offense that appears poised to score plenty of points this season. At best, Thompson could emerge as the Chiefs’ new starting running back.
