With only hours to go until the big day, people in Liverpool will be spending Christmas Eve frantically looking for last minute presents or staying at home feeling smug.
Whatever you're doing, we're guessing your festive spirit is high right now because you simply can't beat Christmas time in Liverpool.
There are Christmas Eve traditions we've all grown up with and many we still do now.
Of course some aren't specific to Liverpool, but many are definitely a Scouse thing, from putting on your new pair of pyjamas specially bought for Christmas Eve, to getting a spray tan.
Whether you stay in, or go out, these are 27 Christmas Eve traditions you'll know all too well if you grew up in Liverpool.
If you're staying in:
1. New Christmas Eve Pyjamas are a must
2. Ordering a takeaway because your mum has banned everyone from the kitchen
3. And she'll be in a mood because there at least three things she forgot to buy
4. Watching Christmas TV specials, probably a Royle Family repeat
5. No matter how much food is in the kitchen, no one is ever allowed to touch it
6. That includes the drinks too
7. A Christmas Eve spray tan is must
8. Just like pin curls
9. You'll put fresh bedding on
10. And spend ages picking out a board game to play
11. Only to have someone flip over the Monopoly board when they're losing
12. Your mum will tell you exactly what you'll be doing the next day - minute by minute
13. Someone will finally smuggle some Christmas food out of the fridge
14. You'll plan exactly what time you're getting up in the morning, even though you'll definitely sleep in
15. Scoffing Santa's cookies and milk after the kids have gone to bed
16. Your mum will iron everyone's Christmas clothes, no matter how old you are
17. There will be some last minute speed wrapping because "wrapping as you go" didn't happen
18. You'll have one too many drinks in front of the telly and then swear you won't go overboard again next year
If you're going out:
19. You firmly believe Christmas Eve is the best night out of the year
20. You're guaranteed to bump into everyone you went to school with
21. Because everyone heads to their local pub on Christmas Eve
22. Or the Croc if you're in town
23. Which means, karaoke is a must
24. Singing Fairytale of New York completely out of tune and not regretting it
25. Everyone you meet will be in a good mood - it is Christmas Eve after all
26. No matter how much you promised yourself you won't have too much to drink, you'll definitely wake up hungover
27. Getting home and eating all the food out of the fridge
