263 cases confirmed in Tokyo

The Tokyo metropolitan government announced Wednesday that 263 new cases of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed in the capital.

The number of people infected per day has fallen below 300 for the first time since Monday, but has topped 200 for the 9th consecutive day. The total number of infected people in Tokyo currently stands at 14,285.
