260 new coronavirus cases in Tokyo

There were 260 confirmed coronavirus infections in Tokyo on Friday. The number is less than Thursday's record number of 366 cases, but the daily number of infections has exceeded 100 for 16 consecutive days since July 9. A cumulative total of 10,680 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the capital.
