HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 257 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Sunday even as the number of active cases stood at 5,912. The total count of cases since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 6,57,376 and the death toll stands at 3,870.
There are 16 active containment zones in the state. Jagtiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have majority of the active containment zones . A total of 409 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total count of recovered patients to 6,47,594. tnn
