250 new infections in Tokyo

Another 250 people in Tokyo were confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus, the Tokyo metropolitan government announced Wednesday.

The number of infected people has exceeded 200 for the second consecutive day.

The total number of infected patients in Tokyo now stands at 11,861.
