25 Nottinghamshire Covid hotspots where rates are above national average

Coronavirus cases in the city and county remain high, with 25 hotspot areas far above the national average.

The latest Government's interactive Covid map, which shows the infection rates of every area, shows neighbourhoods in Gedling borough currently have the highest rate of infection within the county, with Carlton Hill and Arnold Town experiencing a high volume of cases.

Clifton South is currently the area that is worst affected with a case rate of 2318.6 people per 100,000.

Areas in Ashfield, such as West Hucknall and Hucknall Town, are also badly affected.

There are currently 25 areas across the city and county that have an infection rate of 1,600 or more per 100,000. This is far greater than the UK average of 1,257.5.

Below is a list of the worst affected areas in Nottinghamshire.
