25 iconic images by famed wildlife photographer David Yarrow

This September, world-renowned photographer David Yarrow will release his first photographic monograph in two years, featuring 150 of Yarrow’s most famous and iconic works.

Americas, Africa, Antarctica, Arctic, Asia, Europe by David Yarrow will also feature a first-person narrative weaved through the pages along with a foreword by NFL star Tom Brady and an afterword written by former supermodel Cindy Crawford.

In a statement about the book, Yarrow said: “There are no universal rules in photography—only personal ones.

"My central premise is that if photography was a language, then focus would be the most important word in that lexicon. Focus deliberately includes or it deliberately excludes, and it should be emphatically clear what the photographer is trying to say.”

With the 368-page book retailing at £139, the British photographer and conservationist has said all royalties from the book and supporting charity events will be donated to conservation efforts around the globe, namely WildAid in the United States and Tusk in the UK.

A selection of Yarrow’s images will also be on display this autumn at the Maddox Gallery on Westbourne Grove in London. Called ‘Pride Rock’ this exhibition will comprise of 40 of his most iconic photographs and will be on display from October 2 to 23.
