The New York Giants will square off against the New England Patriots on Thursday night in the final game of the preseason, and for more than two dozen players, it could mean the difference between making the squad and hitting the unemployment line.
Currently, the Giants have roughly 35 locks on their 53-man roster, leaving substantial room for other players to state their case. Some are extreme long-shots, but there are also those in the middle — those on the fringe.
