£25,000 separates the asking price of these homes

Incredibly these two properties will cost new buyers almost the same with just £25,000 separating the expectation of the vendors.

One is a three bedroom terrace house with a bathroom and modest rear garden; the other boasts two spacious farmhouses, sunlounges, a thriving business, four acres of land and oodles of privacy.

Owners of the terrace house at Stavely Gardens are seeking offers around £625,000, and the owners of Hillview Farm are hoping to get £600,000.

And the difference is that Stavely is in London and Hillview is in glorious Northern Ireland.

The modest terrace is located close to a wide array of local shops and amenities in a quiet and popular residential area Grove Park.

And the agent Barnard Marcus in Chiswick says: "It is presented in excellent condition throughout, comprising three bedrooms, a bathroom suite, an open plan kitchen/living area and a guest cloakroom."

Over in beautiful Rubane, Co Down, agent Simon O'Brien is selling Hillview Farm which dates back to the 1700s.

It offers the first of two homes with:

  • Views over countryside to Strangford Lough and Mourne mountains
  • Flexible and adaptable accommodation
  • Potential to rent out annex or ideal for live in family members
  • Attractive stone outbuildings currently used as a thiving kennels business with outdoor runs and underfloor heating
  • Superb site with lawns, pebbled drive and turning space, mature trees and hedges
  • Secluded courtyard with artificial grass and raised deck area.

And the second of two homes offers:

  • Lough views
  • Three bedrooms, master with luxury en suite
  • Kitchen with a good range of units
  • Living room with vaulted ceiling and multi fuel stove.
  • Own door access if necessary
  • Bathroom and ground floor cloakroom
  • Conservatory
