Recently, 247 Sports released its list of 10 SEC players whom they project to have a breakout year in the upcoming 2019 season.
Among the list of players was UGA’s own cornerback Tyson Campbell who flashed signs of brilliance throughout his true freshman season with the Dawgs.
“A former five-star recruit from Plantation, Fla., Campbell will shoulder quite a load for the Bulldogs next season, who are forced to replace projected first-round pick Deandre Baker at one of the corner spots.”
With Campbell taking on an increased workload this season, UGA’s secondary should be among the best in the country.
Replacing Baker’s excellence in the backfield will be difficult to say the least, but it appears that Campbell will be up to the challenge.
