247 Sports names potential trap game for Georgia in 2019

Brad Crawford of 247 Sports compiled a list of potential trap games for every team in the SEC this season.

Georgia’s 2019 potential trap game on the schedule was listed as November 9th’s home game against the Missouri Tigers.

According to 247’s website, “Beating Mizzou before a matchup at Auburn is of paramount importance…There’s a chance the Tigers are 8-0 coming into Athens, but if that’s the case, Georgia won’t be overlooking this one at all.”

Missouri lost Drew Lock to the NFL Draft this past offseason but also signed transfer quarterback Kelly Bryant, who led Clemson to an ACC Championship and the College Football Playoff just two years ago.

Although the Tigers won’t have much to play for this season with their eligibility revoked, they should still present a formidable opponent for the Dawgs before their cross-division rivalry matchup at Auburn and a monster game against Texas A&M.
