24 things you'll be able to do in Ireland again from Monday as phase three begins

After a long road, Ireland is finally returning to some normality as the lockdown reopening continues.

The country will enter phase three of the opening roadmap on Monday, June 29 if cases and deaths stay as low as they have been in recent weeks.

And this new phase will see the most significant changes so far with restaurants, barbers and many more things reopening.

While life won't be fully back to normal, it will feel a lot closer to what normal was from Monday onwards.

Here's 24 things you will be allowed to do from the start of phase three on Monday;

24 things you can do in Phase three

1. You will be allowed to travel anywhere in Ireland with restrictions on all travel within the country lifted.

2. Bring your kids to summer camps like Cul Camps.

3. Drop your children off at creches as all childcare facilities reopen.

4. Bring your kids to any indoor and outdoor amenities.

5. Get a massage! wellbeing services - for example: chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology and homoeopathy are all back.

6. Get your hair cut, dyed or styled as hairdressers and barbers finally get the green light.

7. Getting a tattoo or piercing will be allowed again as will tanning salons and all beauty services open.

8. Shop pretty much anywhere as all remaining retail services reopen.

9. Have an indoor gathering of up to 50 people - in line with public health advice.

10. Have an outdoor gathering with up to 200 people when conducted in line with public health advice are permissible.

11. Visit your favourite restaurant or cafe as the hospitality sector opens again.

12. Go for a pint (and some food) at a local pub or restaurant.

13. Take a mini-break in Ireland with hotels and caravan parks open for business.

14. Choirs and other musical groups can congregate again under some specific rules.

15. Head to a museum or gallery for the first time in a while.

16. Head to mass or any place of worship.

17. Visit the cinema, amusement parks like Tayto Park and all other cultural venues except nightclubs.

18. Head back to the gym - not all are opening on this date however.

19. Play a game of five a side with your friends as contact sports resume.

20. Play full contact games at hurling/football/soccer training as team sports get back up and running.

21. Go for a swim in your local swimming pool again.

22. You can visit yoga, pilates and dance studios again.

23. Take your driving lessons or a test as RSA centres reopen.

24. Go and watch a local sporting game where the crowd is less than 200 people - like a local GAA match.
