24 quarterbacks have better odds to win NFL MVP than Mitchell Trubisky

The state of Illinois is set to legalize sports gambling just in time for Chicago Bears fans to place their bets on the team entering their second season with Matt Nagy.

The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook released their updated odds for 2019 NFL MVP award, and Mitchell Trubisky remains a betting long shot.

The young Bears quarterback has 200/1 odds to be the Most Valuable Player, tying him at 25th among quarterbacks with Nick Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That means, for every dollar you bet, it would pay out $200.

Some quarterbacks with better odds than Trubisky include Marcus Mariota, Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, Jameis Winston, Sam Darnold, Derek Carr and Dak Prescott all at 100/1.

No other quarterbacks are even listed with worse odds.

Trubisky’s own teammate, Khalil Mack, comes in with 100/1 odds to win MVP. Tarik Cohen also appears on the list, strangely enough, at 300/1.

Most Valuable Player might be out of reach for the third-year passer, but Bears fans are expecting a significant step forward from their quarterback.

And if he somehow puts together a whole new level of dominance, some brave and confident fans could be in for a massive payout from the sportsbook.
