23 of the best places to eat in Liverpool named by Time Out

The best restaurants in Liverpool have been named, according to Time Out’s Eat List.

Liverpool has a thriving food and drink scene, with new bars and restaurants opening frequently, bringing diversity and deliciousness to the city.

Whether you’re looking for a fine dining experience or want to transport yourself to other lands such as Marrakech with tantalising sharing plates, Liverpool has something for everyone.

Time Out has named its top 23 restaurants in Liverpool right now:

1. The Art School Restaurant

Housed in what used to be a ‘home for destitute children’, The Art School is described as “all about exquisite, beautiful prepared British cooking”. It was also named among the best 100 restaurants in the UK earlier this year, by SquareMeal.

1 Sugnall St, Liverpool L7 7EB

2. Roski

Time Out says Roski’s menu “makes inventive use of homegrown British ingredients. Everything’s immaculately presented - so bring your camera.” It's not the only "best of" list Roski appears on.

16 Rodney St, Liverpool L1 2TE

3. Panoramic 34

Panoramic 34 is known for its stunning views across Merseyside and Time Out says it is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking to impress a date.

7. Italian Club

With two venues in the city centre, Mowlgi challenges the idea that British ‘Indian food’ is limited to the high-calorie foods you find on the high street.
