In a disturbing incident in Arnold, Missouri, authorities charged 22yo Quinton Peters with first-degree domestic assault and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child following an alleged attack on his girlfriend and her child at her residence.
The fight started when Peters discovered that she had sold his Xbox console, a decision allegedly made due to her discovering that he was allegedly cheating on her.
The scary encounter
According to court documents, on the evening of September 7, 2025, Peters arrived at the home around 11:34 p.m. and confronted his girlfriend. The situation escalated when Peters allegedly grabbed her by the shirt, threw her onto a bed, and then assaulted her further by lifting her by the throat and pinning her against a wall, banging her head before dropping her.
The child, who is under 17, attempted to intervene but was also thrown onto the bed. Fortunately, the child was not injured, and the woman declined medical treatment.
Peters faces serious charges, including first-degree domestic assault, a class B felony punishable by five to 15 years in prison, and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, a class D felony carrying a penalty of up to seven years in prison. Reports say Peters posted bond the day after his arrest and is expected back in court on October 24, 2025.
Other alarming allegations against Peters emerged as news of his recent arrest spread on social media. “Sorry for his family but the amount of harassment i’ve encountered from this man,” one comment noted, “blocked a billion plus times, watched at my job from parking lots, and admitted he was dirty. mind you i never spoke to this man but one time at the GAS STATION CHECKOUT bc i was working .” The comment added, “his ex came to me when she was being abused by him also and that was probably 3yrs ago now. some men don’t change.”
