Diplomatic deadlock over reopening the Strait of Hormuz keeps geopolitical risk in play, with any escalation threatening higher energy prices and renewed inflation. July's flat U.S. PPI suggests inflationary pressure may persist; traders now price just a 35% chance of a September rate hike, down from 55% last week (CME FedWatch). Gold's key support sits at $4300 (Rs 152,000), below which levels of $4200 and $4160 open up; silver's double-top formation near $66.30 risks a fall toward $61.60 if $64 support breaks."
