A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged after two separate robberies took place in the capital on Saturday.
The first alleged incident happened around 5.45pm at the Best One store on Bonnington Road and the second incident happened around 6.15pm at the Co-op store on McDonald Road.
After a witness appeal asking for information to identify the suspect, police have confirmed that a man has been arrested and charged.
The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 July, 2020.
