Today marked the final day of this year's BBC Summer Social which has taken place across Croxteth Park this weekend.
Throughout the weekend, festival-goers have watched artists such as Pixie Lott, Busted, John Newman and X-Factor's Rak-Su performed while characters from some of the biggest children's television shows also headed to the park.
Despite the Met Office predicting thunder and rain, these photographs show families didn't let a few clouds stop them having a good time.

Mr Tumble and Friends, Andy & the Odd Socks and Max & Harvey were among the children's entertainment throughout the weekend.
Running alongside the main stages on both days was also a huge range of outdoor activities.
In the BBC Sport field there was an array of sports from tennis, to parkour and a Match of the Day Kickabout Challenge.
There was also a Doctor Who fun, a supersized Bedtime Stories tent , performances and Q&As from some of CBBC’s biggest shows including The Worst Witch and an entire field of inflatable fun – including the world’s biggest bouncy castle.
