22 pictures to get you excited for Glastonbury Festival 2019 despite the rain

This year's Glastonbury Festival is less than two weeks away and those lucky enough to have bagged a ticket will be praying the rain stops so we don't end up with the dreaded muddy Glastonbury.

The festival is set on the iconic Worthy Farm in Somerset and as well as being known as one of the biggest festivals in the world, it is also renowned for its bad weather.

Last time Glastonbury took place in 2017, it surprisingly broke a record for its hottest year ever with festival goers warned to keep hydrated in the heat. This year however looks set to be very different.

Despite the Met Office still forecasting a dry end to the month, ticket holders will no doubt be nervous given how much rain fall we've had this week - and it's not looking like it is set to stop any time soon.

However, there is a reason Glastonbury is loved by those who attend every year and the rain certainly won't put them off - as these pictures clearly prove.
