Today marked the first day of Liverpool's most stylish event - the Grand National Festival.
Thousands of people attended today's race meeting at Aintree and as expected everyone upped the style stakes with suits, monochrome and pastel colours all on display.
Once again, it proved why Liverpool is the capital of style.
As always, the ECHO was on the course meeting racegoers and getting the insights into their outfit choices. Many even made a coat look stylish.
