LUCKNOW: Nearly 22,000 people got fully immunised after taking the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Saturday. The drive was conducted at 71 booths, including 32 private facilities. While government booths were reserved for second dose beneficiaries, private units inoculated both first and second shots. Altogether 21,939 people were jabbed with the second dose while 2,000 received the first vaccine shot.
Till now, 7.8 lakh people in Lucknow have been fully immunized while 12.7 lakh have received a single shot. Meanwhile, three more persons tested Covid-19 positive on Saturday. As no existing patient recovered, the number of active cases increased to 31.
Vaccination camps
A vaccination camp will be organised at the La Martiniere Girls’ College on Monday from 10am to 5pm. A camp will also be held at CMS (Kanpur Road and Gomtinagar Extn) on Sunday from 9am.
