ACT Policing have returned about $20,000 worth of stolen tools to tradespeople after seizing them from suspected drug traffickers on Friday.

About $30,000 worth of drugs and weapons, including a homemade shotgun, were found at two homes in Bonner and Gowrie and a Mitchell storage facility.

"The tools recovered were able to be returned to the tradesmen who owned them as the majority had the mobile numbers of the owners engraved on them," ACT Police said.
