LIV Golf started its 2025 season with four international events, but it's back in the U.S. this week for its annual stop in Miami, at the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral. Up for grabs was its customary $25 million purse, with $4 million to the individual winner and $5 million set aside for the team competition.
Marc Leishman is taking home the big check for the first time in his LIV career, winning at Doral with a score of 6 under. Charl Schwartzel and Sergio Garcia, on the way to the Masters, finished second and third.
The Blue Monster proved no joke for the field as only six players finished under par. Bryson DeChambeau finished fifth at 2 under and Phil Mickelson sixth at 1 under.
In the team competition, Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC rolled to the win at 4 over, eight shots clear of DeChambeau’s Crushers GC. The 4Aces finished third.
