For the fourth consecutive year, LIV Golf made a stop in Chicago. This year's edition offered a $25 million purse, with $4 million to the individual winner and $5 million set aside for the team competition.
Both competitions went to a playoff in a wild finish Sunday afternoon. Dean Burmester defeated Josele Ballester and Jon Rahm on the first playoff hole for his second LIV title, while in the team competition Stinger GC defeated Torque GC.
LIV Golf's individual championship is next week north of Indianapolis and Joaquin Niemann will arrive as the points leader and trying to close out the season-long title, with Jon Rahm chasing in second place.
