2024 NFL mock draft roundup: Ravens look to add elite defenders to the roster

The Ravens are 9-3 and atop the AFC North, but it’s never too early for a look ahead to the 2024 NFL draft.

Baltimore could lose Justin Madubuike (DT), and Patrick Queen (LB) in free agency.

We recently looked at the mock drafts from around the country, and the consensus has Baltimore reloading on defense, especially in the secondary or at edge rusher.

Another secondary that needs plenty of help, the Ravens could use a versatile, athletic playmaker like DeJean who can line up at multiple spots. He can play inside or outside at corner, on the back end as a safety, or even in the box as a linebacker. DeJean also brings added value as an explosive return man.

31. Baltimore Ravens: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Mitchell, who currently ranks No. 2 in the FBS with 17 passes defended, offers size (6-1, 200), speed (4.39 40-yard dash) and a composed play style downfield. He has been targeted 59 times this season and is allowing only 42.4 percent completions with zero penalties.
