The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine is just around the corner, which is the next step in the draft process. The Rams will probably skip the in-person festivities in Indianapolis again this year but that doesn’t mean they won’t be evaluating all of the prospects testing at the combine.
With the draft rapidly approaching, we’ve put together a complete first-round mock draft, which includes the Rams’ pick at No. 19 -- their first pick in Round 1 since 2016 when they moved up for Jared Goff.
Here’s how the first round could go in April.

Chicago Bears: QB Caleb Williams, USC
It’s hard to imagine the Bears trading this pick away and sticking with Justin Fields, given the current talent and potential of Williams.

Washington Commanders: QB Drake Maye, North Carolina
The Commanders need a franchise quarterback under their new ownership and head coach, and Maye is the perfect one to build around at No. 2 overall.

New England Patriots: QB Jayden Daniels, LSU
Mac Jones’ time in New England seems to be coming to an end after a disastrous 2023 season and Daniels would be an electric replacement.

Arizona Cardinals: WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State
Giving Kyler Murray a legitimate No. 1 receiver in 2024, which is a pivotal year for the quarterback and team as a whole, would be wise for Arizona.

Los Angeles Chargers: WR Malik Nabers, LSU
Nabers is a playmaker who would help the Chargers right away with Keenan Allen entering the final year of his contract and Mike Williams coming off a season-ending injury.

New York Giants: OT Joe Alt, Notre Dame
If there’s one thing the Giants need to fix, it’s their offensive line and Alt is a huge step toward accomplishing that.

Tennessee Titans: WR Rome Odunze, Washington
If Will Levis is the guy moving forward, giving him a receiver like Odunze would help him immensely.

Atlanta Falcons: CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama
The Falcons could use a quarterback but unless they trade up, they may wait until the second round. Arnold fills a big need at corner.

Chicago Bears: DT Byron Murphy II, Texas
It’s possible the Bears go with a lineman or wideout here, but Murphy solidifies the interior of the defensive line.

New York Jets: OT Olu Fashanu, Penn State
The Jets would like Aaron Rodgers to play more than a few snaps in 2024 so protecting him is paramount.

Minnesota Vikings: QB Bo Nix, Oregon
With Kirk Cousins hitting free agency, the Vikings need a new starter. Nix isn’t a top-tier quarterback but he has a relatively high floor.

Denver Broncos: TE Brock Bowers, Georgia
Bowers is one of the best players in the entire class and could have the type of impact on a game that Travis Kelce, Sam LaPorta and George Kittle do.

Las Vegas Raiders: OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State
Another quarterback-needy team, however, the Raiders may not see a signal caller at this spot worth taking and Fuaga is a stud.

New Orleans Saints: OT JC Latham, Alabama
Latham can help the Saints tremendously at tackle for years to come, giving them a road-grader on the outside.

Indianapolis Colts: CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo
Mitchell may not even be available at this spot come April because he’s a fast riser and one of the best corners in the draft.

Seattle Seahawks: EDGE Dallas Turner, Alabama
The first edge rusher comes off the board here to Seattle, which has a defensive line in desperate need of help under new coach Mike McDonald.

Jacksonville Jaguars: EDGE Jared Verse, Florida State
Josh Allen is a pending free agent and while he may be tagged, adding Verse as a long-term option would be a great move for Jacksonville.

Cincinnati Bengals: OT Amarius Mims, Georgia
Joe Burrow needs better protection up front and Mims would be one of the better options at this point in the first round.

Los Angeles Rams: EDGE Laiatu Latu, UCLA
Byron Young has a bright future but the Rams badly need someone to pair with him at outside linebacker. Latu has a high ceiling and would help immediately on defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers: C Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon
Powers-Johnson was dominant at the Senior Bowl and is the top center in the class, making this a logical and perfect fit for Pittsburgh.

Miami Dolphins: OL Troy Fautanu, Washington
Three of the Dolphins’ interior linemen are pending free agents so the offensive line should be the highest priority for Miami.

Philadelphia Eagles: CB Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama
Anyone who saw the Eagles defense late in the season knows it needs cornerback help. McKinstry would make a lot of sense here.

Houston Texans: DT Jer'Zhan Newton, Illinois
It’s not the strongest class for defensive tackles but Newton is an impactful player who can stop the run and rush the passer as a three-technique.

Dallas Cowboys: OL Graham Barton, Duke
Barton is one of the most versatile linemen in the draft and would fill a big hole at center for Dallas if Tyler Biadasz leaves in free agency.

Green Bay Packers: OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
Guyton is a big and powerful tackle who would help set the tone along the Packers’ offensive line in front of Jordan Love and Aaron Jones.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: CB Nate Wiggins, Clemson
Wide receiver could be an option here with Mike Evans becoming a free agent, but cornerback is also a need for Tampa Bay.

Arizona Cardinals: CB Cooper DeJean, Iowa
After landing Harrison earlier in Round 1, the Cardinals come back with DeJean, an electric return man and impressive cornerback with great ball skills.

Buffalo Bills: WR Brian Thomas Jr., LSU
Stefon Diggs’ future in Buffalo could be up in the air, making wide receiver a top priority for the Bills. Thomas may not be in the same class as his teammate Nabers, but he’s a talented wideout.

Detroit Lions: EDGE Chop Robinson, Penn State
You can never go wrong with too many edge rushers and pairing Robinson with Aidan Hutchinson would make the Lions defense even more fearsome.

Baltimore Ravens: WR Troy Franklin, Oregon
The Odell Beckham Jr. experiment didn’t work and the Ravens still need someone to go with Zay Flowers. Franklin would be a great fit in Baltimore.

San Francisco 49ers: OL Jordan Morgan, Arizona
Trent Williams isn’t getting any younger and San Francisco was a mess at right tackle, so Morgan could help at either tackle spot.

Kansas City Chiefs: WR Xavier Worthy, Texas
The Chiefs need to give Patrick Mahomes another weapon by any means necessary. Worthy is a speedster who would complement Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce well.
